Cecil S. Wheeler

Cecil S. Wheeler, 90, of Cumming passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Cecil was a great Husband, Father, PaPa and Preacher that loved God with all his heart, soul and mind. He was committed to reading 75 chapters of the Bible each week and touched many people’s lives. Cecil was a U.S. Army veteran and is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Lois McPherson Wheeler and a number of brothers, sisters and other relatives.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Pearlie Wheeler; daughters, Vicky (Alan) Gourley, LaRae Wheeler, Diane (Jimmy) Whitlock, Joane Wheeler and Tracey (Jeff) Davis; grandchildren, Kristi Titshaw, Ashley Shelton, Brooke Reid, Spencer Gourley, Lauryn Williams, Chelsea Williams, Leah Davis and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services, with military honors, will be held Saturday, February 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
