Charity Yvonne Scott

Charity Yvonne Scott, 78, of Gay, GA, formally of Cumming, GA passed away December 10, 2022. Charity was born in Zellwood, FL to the late Harold Loyd and Pauline Byars Jones. Mrs. Scott was a member of Free Chapel. She loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her 3 granddaughters. Charity enjoyed crocheting and had a green thumb when it came to flowers and plants. You would find Mrs. Scott planting and tending to her flowers and gardeningthroughout the year. All who knew Charity would tell you she was an amazing cook. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Scott, and her brother, Loyd Jones.

She is survived by her fiancé, Larry Baity; children and their spouses, Eddy and Vickey Scott; Rebecca and Jimmy Grizzle; granddaughters, Kellie Grizzle, Brandy Scott, Taylor and Nate Moyer; sisters, Brenda Jones, Candi Jones; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2022, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Lively officiating. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040.
