Charles Alan Cole

Charles Alan Cole, 84, of Suwanee GA, passed away on August 31, 2021. He was born August 6, 1937 in Bowling Green, KY to George Franklin II and Gladys Harmon Cole. He was married for 61 years to Phyllis Bottom Cole of Bardstown Ky. He was a graduate of Bowling Green Business University in 1959. He was employed by F. W. Woolworth Co for 43 years retiring in 1994. His years with Woolworth included 17 relocations to stores in 8 different states. He retired from his second career as a tax preparer for H & R Block with 20 years of service. He was an Elder and active member of the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ and member of the local
Johns Creek Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis; daughter Dawn Brown (Glenn) Alpharetta GA and son Mark Cole (Ingrid) Ringoes NJ; grandchildren Emily Brown Petellat (Josh), Allison Brown, Cole Brown, Jordan Cole and Griffin Cole and 1 great grandchild Emberly Petellat; his brother George Franklin Cole III (Mary Lou), several nephews, niece, great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
