Charles Broughton Heard

Charles Broughton Heard, age 84 of Cumming, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016. He was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. Charles was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Heard; son, Fred Heard; parents, Lawton and Eva Heard; brothers, G. C. Heard, Ivan Heard, Earl Heard, Roger Heard. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and a great great great niece. Special friend, Barney Hammond. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 10th at 4:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Bottoms and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am until hour of the service.
