Charles “Bud” Brooks

Charles “Bud” Brooks, 85, of Cumming, GA passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Brooks was a racing fan, especially NASCAR. In his earlier years he pulled for Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and his later years he pulled for Chase Elliott. Bud was a strong family man who put others before himself. He enjoyed gardening and fishing when he was not busy providing for his family. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, Romey& Nona Henson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia Brooks; children and their spouses, Tammy & Ben Bird, Charles Dwayne Brooks, Tony Brooks, Kimberly Lawhorn, Donald & Kim Brooks; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040. 770-887-2388. In lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Charles “Bud” Brooks to St. Jude’s Childrens Hosptal.
