Charles Grady Henderson

Charles Grady Henderson, 78, of Toccoa, formerly of Free Home passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. Generous to a fault, Charles loved his family and helping others. He was retired from General Motors and enjoyed music. Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gail Hansard Henderson; a son, Tony Henderson; and a grandson, Joey Turner.

Survivors include his daughters, Tracey Green and Cindy Roper; grandchildren, Brandi Nations, Michael Henderson, Nathan Roper, Tyler Roper, Cherkia Henderson and Toshia Cochran; 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Ruth Richards, Lucy Warren, Linda Pinyan, and Pam Burns. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Roper officiating. Interment will follow at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
