Charles Richard “Ricky” Cowart

Rev. Charles Richard “Ricky” Cowart, age 70, of Cumming, GA, passed away on October 2, 2022.  Ricky was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church.  He was a loving husband and father.  Ricky retired from Sawnee EMC.  He loved his nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Cowart; sister, Chris Croft; aunt, Frances Kennemore.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Peggy Cowart; son, Michael Cowart; father, Billy (Peggy) Cowart; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Keith Kilby; nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Raney Roden, Rev. Butch Kirk, and Rev. Keith Kilby officiating.  The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from the hours of 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Wednesday, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
