Johnny Charles Tinsley, age 77, of Cumming, GA, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017. He was a member of Cumming Church of God. Charles was the owner of Charles Tinsley Taxidermy in Cumming, GA. He loved the Lord and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ruth Tinsley, and sister, Shirley Tinsley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Willie Tinsley of Cumming, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny (Earline) Tinsley of Gainesville, Ricky (Patricia) Tinsley of Cumming, and Bryan Tinsley of Cumming; daughter, Christy Brannon of Jasper; grandchildren, Jody (Leslie) Tinsley, Josh (Ashley) Tinsley, Nick (Breanne) Tinsley, Dakota and Mary Grace Tinsley, Kelly Dalton and PamelaMarie Vaughn all of Cumming; great grandchildren, Brayden, Lainy, Kyler and Raelyn Tinsley all of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clay (Yvonne) Tinsley of Calhoun, and Carol (Mary) Tinsley of Cumming; niece, Cindy Cohley of Marietta; along with many other loving friends and family .
Funeral services for Mr. Tinsley will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Estes and Rev. Rudy Tribble officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
