Charles Warren Wood

Charles Warren Wood, age 78 of Cumming, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Charles was born in 1944, to the late Eugene and Omie Fowler Wood. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Charles enjoyed fishing and working on cars. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Wood, and sibling, Imogene McGinnis, Dorothy Wood, , Ruby Williams, Willie Wood, Robert Wood, Jewell Wood, James Wood, Rupert Wood.

He is survived by his children, Michelle and Charles Gunter, and Deanna and Brent Callahan; brothers, Lewis Wood; grandchildren, Cassey (Lamar) Bearden, Kari (Travis) Simmons, Bryson Gunter, Kaitlyn (Kouyo) Young, Chase Callahan, Nick Callahan; great grandchildren, Trinity Bearden, Gabriel Bearden, Cheyenne Simmons, Sierra Simmons, Savannah Simmons, Kylie Grace Simmons, Kiera Young, Easton Young, and Esmae Young; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Jackie Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service.
