Christian Beverly Shirley

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Christian Beverly Shirley, who left us all too soon on April 28, 2023 at the tender age of 29. A beacon of love, kindness, and strength, Christian's radiant spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Born on June 17, 1993, Christian was a true gift to her mother, Suzanne Webster, and her late father, Christopher Beverly. She was a cherished granddaughter to Marilyn Beverly and the late Norm Beverly who showed their granddaughters immeasurable love and care. Her bond with her sisters, Angel Brooks and Erin Potts, and cousin, Chianne Brown was one of deep love and understanding, as they navigated life's ups and downs together, but never failed to be there for one another in times of adversity and need.

Her most treasured role was undoubtedly that of a mother. Her daughters, Mazikeen and McKenzie (Lemon), were the center of her universe, and she nurtured them with unwavering devotion and an immeasurable amount of love.

She was a beacon of guidance to her children, instilling in them the virtues of kindness, perseverance, and compassion. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly in their lives, guiding them from above as their guardian angel. Her best friends Victoria, Shannon, Chelsee, Samantha, Ashton, Danny, and Victor - all extensions of her chosen family - will hold cherished memories of Christian in their hearts and ensure that her memory is not lost nor forgotten.

Christian was a woman of immense resilience and infectious positivity. Her ability to find joy in the simplest of moments and spread that joy to others was a testament to her beautiful spirit. She loved without limits, lived with purpose, and faced every challenge with unwavering bravery. Her loss leaves a void in our hearts that will be impossible to fill as Christian’s soul and spirit were truly one of a kind, but her memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives.

As we navigate this difficult time, we take solace in the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the wonderful memories she has left behind. We will remember Christian not just for the love she had for her family and friends, but also for her vibrant spirit that will continue to live on in all who knew her.

A celebration of Christian's life will be held at on Monday May 15 at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 210 Ingram Avenue Cumming, GA 30040 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. This service will be followed by an informal gathering at Los Rios Mexican Restaurant. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made at a later date to a trust fund which will be established for her daughters by their Godfather, Victor Zenith.

She will be dearly missed, but we find comfort in knowing that her love will forever remain in our hearts. In memory of Christian, let us cherish the time we have with our loved ones and spread kindness, as she so often did.
