Christopher Troy Vandergriff

Christopher Troy Vandergriff, age 51, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Chris was known for his fierce and unconditional love for his daughter, Chase Bailey. Chris was an avid racing enthusiast, both in his personal life and career, born with nitro in his blood. In his free time, he would always be found on the water, with his daughter and the "Big Splash Squad". Chris' impact on those who had the honor to know and love him, simply cannot be summarized in writing. Chris took a piece of all our hearts with him when he left this world. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Marta Goller Vandergriff (Omi), and his uncle, Vernon Poston. He is survived by his daughter, Chase Bailey Vandergriff; father, Bob Vandergriff (senior); sister, Elfie Vandergriff Sposito; brothers, Kevin Vandergriff and Bob Vandergriff (Junior); sister- in- law, Marisa Vandergriff; aunt, Mandy Secola; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Russell, Morgan, Ashley, Sydney, Trey and Luke.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday October 02, 2021, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the entombment at Sawnee View Gardens and will be published as soon as a venue has been selected.
