Clarence Gazaway, age 81, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and a longtime member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Clarence is preceded in death by his wife, Parnell Gazaway; son, Ricky Gazaway; daughter, Judy Gazaway; parents, Evia and Ingram Gazaway; brother, J.C. Gazaway. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Rebecca Gazaway; granddaughter and husband, Brandy and Graham Forde; granddaughter, Elizabeth Gazaway; great granddaughter, Emmerson Forde all of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Minnie Lou and Justin Adams of Alpharetta; sister-in-law, Velma Gazaway of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, J.T. Wilkie, Christine Wilkie, Wynelle Wilkie, Thomas and Linda Wilkie, Starling Wilkie, Johnny and Barbara Wilkie, Hoyt Howard all of Cumming; Jean Roberts of Commerce, Etta and Sonny Pinion, Betty Gazaway, Larry and Cathy Wilkie, Bertha Wilkie all of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Richards, Rev. Clyde Boling, Rev. Tim Pruitt and Rev. Troy Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service at the funeral home. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
