Surrounded by love Clarence Gordon Watts was born August 20, 1971 in Bayshore, New York to the late Clarence and Gloria Watts. Surrounded by love he departed on March 5, 2015.
Clarence grew up in Central Islip and Brentwood, New York. He graduated from Brentwood High School, where he excelled as an athlete. After graduating from high school, Clarence attended Syracuse University, where he continued to pursue his education as well as his love for sports. While attending Syracuse University, he accepted the opportunity to study abroad in London. After graduating from Syracuse with a degree in Broadcast Communication, he began to work within the field that brought him great joy - the video gaming industry.
Clarence was always one to pursue his dreams whether it was driving trucks cross country, moving to areas of the unknown or answering the call to serve his country in the United States Armyhe did it all. Surrounded by love he had the support of his family and friends.
An avid sportsman, he was a devoted New York Jets fan. There were very few sports that he did not like, as a fan or a participant. Always known for his gift of gab, he had a way of making all feel welcomed. Clarence will always be remembered for his love of his wife, kids, family and friends. He had a unique way of making everyone feel special. With his smile, he greeted everyone and an everlasting impression he was sure to leave.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Erin, his children Desmond, Mikayla and Terrence, his devoted mother Gloria, his sisters Kimberly (Delbert) Batiste, Hazel Watts, Gloria (Donovan) Benton and twin brother William (Meridith) Watts, one aunt Ann Sutton, five great aunts Ruth Boyd, Katie (John) Greene, Grace Graham and Evelyn (Joseph) Bonner and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
