Clyde C. Arnette

Clyde C. Arnette, age 92, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011. He was born on June 20, 1918 in Pedido AL. Clyde was a veteran of World War II and a member of Deer Creek Shores Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 444 for 55 years and had retired from the General Motors Plant in Doraville as superintendant of maintenance. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mayum P. Arnette and son, James B. Arnette. Survivors include his best friend and companion, Patsy Jacoby of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Gail Arnette of Stockbridge; daughter-in-law, Vicki Arnette of Flowery Branch; brother, Noel Arnette of Pensacola, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Sam Powell of Stockton, AL; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 19th at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be the Humane Society of Forsyth County, P O Box 337, Cumming, GA 30028. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
