Clyde C. Padgett

Clyde C. Padgett, 95, of Lilburn formerly of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. A U.S. Navy veteran, Clyde was a business owner in East Atlanta for many years. He was an active member of Sylvester Baptist Church in Atlanta, and upon moving to Toccoa he was a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church. Clyde is preceded in death by his wife, Marilou Gentry Padgett.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Melinda Padgett of Lilburn; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Alex Brannen of Statesboro; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Henry Green of Cumming; 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday the hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
