Clyde "Morris" Martin, age 83 a native of Forsyth County, GA, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012. Morris was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of the American Legion, Post 201 in Alpharetta. Morris retired from Rail Rhodes Inc. He loved hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father, H. Clyde Martin and his brother, Charles Edward Martin. Survivors include his loving wife Martha Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Frankie Bryant of White, GA; grandchildren, Jamie Bryant of Canton, Jennifer Bryant of Canton; great grandchildren, Cole Bryant of White, Tucker Bryant of Acworth, Taylor Silvers of Calhoun, Cassidiee Cloer of Cumming; mother, Nellie Mae Garrett Martin of Cumming, sister and brother-in-law, Lanell and Meredith Mason of Cumming; aunt, Virginia Garrett of Cumming and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 2th at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Orr and Rev. Pete Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm., Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
