Cora Johnson

Cora Johnson, 73, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Gene Johnson; her parents, John and Beatrice Wimpey; sisters, Geneva Crumbley, Frances Crane, Mary-Anne Wimpey, and Glenda Haynes.

Survivors include her grandson, Dakota Mooney; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jason Mooney of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, John and Maudie Wimpey of Smyrna; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Horace Sams of Ball Ground; brothers-in-law, Glenn Haynes of Ball Ground, Frank and Betty Crane of Smyrna; sister-in-law, Margie and Carl Albertson of Cumming; life-long best friend, Glenda Nicholson; and nieces and nephews too numerous to count.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry English and Mr. Bobby Fortner officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
