Cynthia Carol Hammond

Cynthia Carol Hammond, 67, of Cumming passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. Cynthia was born January 4, 1955 in Canton to the late Carl Benjamin and Hazel Hughes Dozier. She was kind, good hearted and always willing to give anyone the shirt off of her back. In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by her son, Samuel William Keen; grandson, John Wesley Duncan; grandparents, Thomas M. Hughes and Livia Lillian Sams; and her son-in-law, Danny Duncan.

Survivors include her children, Penny Duncan, brothers and sisters, Sheila Trimble, Teresa and Bob Mullinax, Kent and Nancy Morgan, Ann Burrows, Diane Leatherwood; grandson, Seth Long; great grandchildren, McKinley, Harlow, and Tristan; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be held Monday, December 5, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Padgett and Rev. Harris Borum, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
