Dale Lloyd Gooch

Dale Lloyd Gooch was born January 23, 1955, to William Garland Gooch and Leila Holtzclaw Gooch.  Dale and his twin sister were the 8^th and 9^th child of eleven children.

Dale lived most of his life in Forsyth County and attended Forsyth County High School.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising chickens.

 Dale is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Pilcher; parents, and brothers, Delton, Michael, and Horace Gooch; oldest sister, Faye Babb.

 He is survived by his daughter Heather; grandson, Tucker Johnson; brothers, Greg (Vickie) Gooch, Russel Gooch; sisters, Mildred Schaide, Janet Smith, Lana (Mac) Thompson, Debbie (Larry) Chumblee; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26^th, 2024, at 3:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Pilcher officiating. The interment will follow at the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on January 25^th, 2024, from the hours of 9:30 AM until 9:00 PM, and again on Friday, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
