Daniel Lasley Cowart, born May 4th 1943, was the fourth child of Ellen Rambo and Jackson
Stonewall Cowart Jr.. After a childhood in Arlington, Georgia, Daniel attended and graduated
from Oglethorpe University. He married Paula Hutchinson in 1974, with whom he had three
children. His professional career took the family from Atlanta to Arlington and finally back to
Atlanta, where the family has lived for the past 26 years. Daniel was preceded in death by his
brother Jackon Stonewall III. He leaves behind his wife Paula; children Phillip, Hugh, and Judith;
son-in-law Stephen, daughter-in-law Susan; brother Lawrence and sister Jane.

A funeral service will held at 2 PM on Saturday February 19th at the Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744
Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30305.
