Dannie Bailey, age 66, of Cumming, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. She was a loving mother, grandmother, loved her family and loved the Lord. Survivors include her children, Barbara Shoemaker (Buzz) Daniels of Ball Ground, Brenda (Sammy) Bearden of Cumming, Beverly (Ian) Dinsmore of Cumming, and Belinda (David) Pruitt of Ball Ground; brothers and sisters, Robert (Catherine) Swofford of Cleveland, GA, Joe (Betty) Swofford of Johns Creek, Lee (Barbara) Swofford of Ellijay, Ray Swofford of Ellijay, Miles (Joann) Swofford of Toccoa, GA, Mary Swofford (Herman) Owens of Walnut Grove, GA, and Fannie (Marvin) Samples of Ellijay; sister-in-law, Nancy Swofford of Jefferson, Joan Swofford of Dahlonega; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 22nd at 2:00pm at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Swafford, Rev. Jerry Orr, and Rev. Joe Swofford officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21st from 3:00pm until 9:00pm and on Friday, August 22nd from 10:00am until 1:00pm.
