David B. Lambert, 48, passed away at his home in Cumming, Georgia on Friday, April 30, 2010. He is survived by his wife Dori, a daughter, Giann, and two sons David G. and Jon-Gabriel Lambert.
David was employed at Scientific Games, International as a Project Manager. In this capacity, he has worked in 40 plus states and many foreign countries that are too numerous to mention. His last project was in China.
He was born in Paducah, KY. He actively participated in youth and high school athletics and string music. He won many musical awards playing the viola, and lettered in baseball and basketball at Paducah Tilghman High School. Upon graduating from high school, he received a scholarship to play baseball at Evansville University in Evansville, Indiana. He majored in commercial art, and his specialty was pottery.
John T. and Norma Lambert, his father and mother, preceded him in passing. He has two brothers: Keith A. Lambert of Paducah, KY and John R. Lambert of Newport News, VA. His Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law are William and Gloria Gonzalez of Charlotte, N.C. He is blessed to have many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Byars Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements and condolences can be sent to the family at www.byarsfuneralhome.com. At Davids request, he will be cremated. There will be a private family service that will be held at a later date in Paducah.
