David Lee Biggs, Jr.

David Lee Biggs, Jr., age 62 of Suwanee, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama and his family later moved to the Atlanta area where he was raised with his sister. He grew up in the Church of God, where his grandfather was a pastor.

David met his wife Lauren at their summer job and they dated throughout college. After graduating from The University of Georgia and completing his Masters at Valdosta State, he soon started his job at Motorola, where he worked for over 35 years. Together, he and Lauren raised three wonderful daughters. David always enjoyed playing a good round of golf, listening to live music, watching a sunset from his porch with his rescue dogs, and cheering on the Bulldawgs every football season. 

David is preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Hall Biggs.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lauren Biggs; daughters, Lydia (Connor) Smoot, Georgianna Biggs, and Alyssa Biggs; father, Dave Biggs, Sr., and sister Donna (Tommy) McMurry.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home at 2:00 pm in Cumming, GA with Pastor Scott Hearn officiating. Following the service, a memorial reception will be held at Tam’s Backstage (215 Ingram Avenue Cumming, Georgia 30040) for friends and family.
