David Lamar "Danny" Hyde

David "Danny" Lamar Hyde, age 62 of Dawsonville, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Danny was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dessie Hyde; sister, Dot Heard; brothers, Frankie, Doris and Daniel Hyde. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Joy Hyde of Dawsonville; children, Daniel (Beth) Hyde of Dawsonville, Nathan (Jennifer) Hyde of Canton, Zachary (Lorna) Hyde of Dawsonville, Blake Hendrix of Dawsonville; 6 grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann (Fred) Chumbler of Helen, Peggy (Chuck) Horton of Cumming, brothers, Billy Hyde of Canton, Gene Hyde of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Martha Hyde of Woodstock, Billy Heard of Milton, Larry "Bongo" Bailey of Cumming, Lamar "D.A." Bailey of Cumming, Danny Bailey of Cumming, Dennis "Red" and Kathy Bailey of Cumming, Penny Bailey of Cumming. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Garry English, Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
