David Wayne Martin

David Wayne Martin of Beulaville, NC passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023. David was born on November 4, 1952 to Preston and Betty Martin in Atlanta. He was a lifelong native of Cumming, GA until he moved to North Carolina in 2020, to be closer to his only daughter and grandchildren. David was an avid sports fan who loved the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.  He loved his family immensely and enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren who were his world.

David is preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Gravitt. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Martin; parents, Preston and Betty Martin; daughter Lindsey McAllister (Darren); grandchildren, Brayden and Adalyn McAllister; and many extended family members.

A memorial service will be held for David on September 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming, GA.
