David Joseph Pickard

David Joseph Pickard, 75, of Cumming. GA, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2022, with his wife by his side.

David was born in Farmington, ME to David Fairfield Pickard and Lois McLaughlin on February 24, 1946. Hewent to school in Madrid and Phillips Maine. He married Priscille Joncas on March 22, 1985, in Yarmouth, Maine. 

He started his snowmobile racing career in 1965 and raced nationally for approximately 10 years, He later worked for Kawasaki selling snowmobiles for 4 years. In 1982, he started a career in Lawn and Garden Equipment as a Regional Manager and worked for Homelite, Weedeater,and RedMax. He was also instrumental in bringing Greenworks and Ego to the United States.

After retiring, David enjoyed motorcycling, travelling with his 39 Chevrolet, travelling with his wife and friends and his daily visits with friends talking about vintage cars. 

David is survived by his spouse Priscille (Joncas) Pickardof Cummings, GA; step-daughter Michelle Silva, of South Portland, Maine, step-daughter and son-in law Sheryl and David Sixsmith of Bradenton, FL; sister and brother-in-law Diana and Karl Bunnell of Madrid Twp, Maine; brother and sister-in law Doug and Phillis Pickard of Durham, Maine; brother and sister-in-law Dewight and Monica Pickard of Lisbon Falls, Maine
