David Rickles

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Rickles, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend, and huge sports fan. David was born in Ohio on 1/13/1947 and spent the majority of his life in the much warmer state of Georgia, where he created a lifetime of memories.

A true sports aficionado, David had an unwavering passion for Georgia football and the Atlanta Braves. His enthusiasm for the teams was infectious, and he could often be found cheering them on in public or private.

Beyond his love for sports, David had a special place in his heart for his favorite cat, Max, and his loyal companion, Buddha AKA Muffin. Their companionship brought him immeasurable joy, and it is a comfort to know that they are now reunited in a place where there is no pain or sorrow.

David leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the things that brought him joy. He will be remembered for his warm spirit and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him.

As we mourn the loss of David, let us celebrate the life he lived and the memories we shared. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the cheers of his favorite sports teams, and the company of his beloved Max and Budha in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Forsyth ANimal Shelter in David's honor.

Memorial services will be held at Vickery Lake Clubhouse on February 10th from 1pm -3pm. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and support during this difficult time.

May David's soul find solace, and may the memories of his vibrant spirit bring comfort to those who grieve.
