David Shortnacy

David Shortnacy of Forsyth County, GA, age 75, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lillian Shortnacy, his two sisters, Malvie Shortnacy, Faye Jester, and brother Eugene Shortnacy. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joyce Shortnacy of Forsyth Co., and children, Lisa Lingerfelt of Forsyth Co, Tommy (Valerie) Shortnacy of Tate, Bobby (Charlotte) Shortnacy of Clermont, and Stephanie (Darrell) Whitt of Jasper; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Joe Shortnacy of Adairsville, J. L. (Nancy) Shortnacy of Texas, and Aaron (Arlina) Shortnacy of Oklahoma. He has thirteen grandchildren, Daniel(Sarah), Felicia and Derick Lingerfelt; Blake (Sara), Thomas, Austin, Ryan, Faith, Micah, and Garrett Shortnacy; April Dyer, Noah Willis, and Katie Whitt. Great-grandchildren are Patelynn, Jace, Troy, Levi, Anna, Abigail, Heidi, and Steven. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interment will be at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens, Dawsonville, GA.
