David Leroy Tate

David Leroy Tate, age 59 of Cumming, GA went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 10, 2023. He was born on October 3rd, 1963, to Jimmy and Joyce Tate. David served as a Sheriff’s Deputy for 16 years with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and was currently working for Larry Evans Trucking. 

David was preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Joyce Tate and brother Danny Tate. 

Survivors include wife Melissa Tate; children Logan (Alexis) Tate, Molly Tate, Jacob (Christian) Hannah, Isaac (Amelia) Hannah, and Zebulun (Alyssa) Hannah; grandchildren Evelyn, Salem, Hayden, Olivia, and Emory; siblings Avery (Keshia) Tate, Susan (Tony Hanson), Kelley Kandell (Ryan Eckelberry); along with a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements .
