Dean Leon Bailey

Dean Leon Bailey, age 80, of Milton, GA passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born in 1940, to the late Claude and Edith Bailey. Dean was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. He was a member of the Grey Goose Hunting Club. Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, and watching WWE wrestling. Dean was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He will always be remembered for his amazing turkey calling, and his thoughtful and humorous nature. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Samples; siblings, La Rue Hitt, Randal Bailey, Ronnie Bailey, and grandson, Keifer Cook.

He is survived by his children, Rev. Calvin (Ann) Bailey, Michele (Jack) Jarvis, Melissa (Rev. Tim) Pruitt, and Theresa Duffy; sister, Sandra Cook; grandchildren, Harley Pruitt, Taylor Jarvis, Bailey Jarvis, Lilly Pruitt, Sadie Pruitt, and Kyle Segers; great grandchild, Gabby Segers; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Rex Byrd, Rev. Richard Picklesimer, and Rev. Wilson Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
