Dean Pruitt

Dean Pruitt, age 77 and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was a deacon and member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He served as past President of the Forsyth County Jaycee's. He retired from ITT/Jabsco following many years in the marine industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Effie Pruitt, sister, Mildred, brother, Gene and daughter, Lynne. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Jackie Pruitt; brother, Royston Pruitt; children, Steve and Bonita Pruitt, Jeff and Connie Pruitt; grandchildren, Madison (Jesse) Hall, Britain (Ben) Wilson, Allison (Chris) Hudson, Sarah Pruitt, Annie B. Pruitt, Jeffrey Pruitt, Vlad Pruitt, Andy Hardin; great grandchildren, Avery, Ellis, Cameron, Bailey, Kylie and Autumn. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Richards, Rev. Michael Cantrell and Rev. Larry Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 am until hour of the service.
