Deborah Darlene Tallant

Deborah Darlene Tallant, age 49 of Cumming, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014. Deborah was a member at Blessed Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan McKinney and Jane Barnes. Survivors include her husband, Don Tallant of Cumming; children, Jayne Tallant of Cumming, Randy and April Tallant of Cumming; grandchildren, Gracie Brook Tallant and Carter Luke Tallant; sister and brothers, Sandra Jackie Lee Ritter of Cumming, Jimmy James Barnes of Cumming, George Steven Barnes of Cumming; Adoptive parents, Gene Dawkins of Demorest, Peggy Phillips of Gainesville; Adoptive sister and brothers, Cindy Lord, Jeff Lord and Gene Dawkins, Jr.; several nieces and nephews and other loved ones also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Rudasill officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9 A.M until 9 P.M., Thursday from 9 A.M. until the hour of the service.
