In Loving Memory of Dee Ann Stalnaker Reichner
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dee Ann Stalnaker Reichner, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us on December 13, 2024, at the age of 59.
Dee Ann was the devoted mother of Ryan Reichner, sharing an unbreakable bond filled with love, laughter, and countless treasured memories. Her unwavering support, warm heart, and gentle guidance helped shape Ryan into the remarkable young man he is today. She was a constant source of encouragement, always reminding Ryan to pursue his dreams and embrace life fully.
Dee Ann was known for her love of horses and riding, with art depicting their beauty always in her sight. Her elegance and beauty while in the saddle was a vison to behold. She was also known for her welcoming nature and generosity towards Ryan’s friends, treating them like her own.
Born on July 25, 1965, Dee Ann lived a life filled with kindness, compassion, and dedication to her family and friends. She had a unique ability to light up every room she entered, and her generosity and strength left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Whether through her warm smile, thoughtful words, or quiet acts of selflessness, she made the lives of those around her better in countless ways.
Her loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family and friends. Dee Ann’s passing was preceded by that of her father, Jerry Stalnaker, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her beloved son, Ryan; her brother, Duane Stalnaker; stepmother, Avah Stalnaker; stepsister, Lisa Metz; her committed and loving partner, Owen Lahey; and countless others who were touched by her life. Though she has left this world, her legacy of love and kindness will live on through those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service for Dee Ann will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Prior to the service friends and family are invited to come together to honor her memory and share stories of the joy she brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation https://scleroderma.org/ or the Scleroderma Research Foundation https://srfcure.org/
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are comforted by the knowledge that her love and spirit will remain with us always. Rest peacefully, Dee Ann, knowing that you were deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
