Della McGlammary Mills

Della McGlammary Mills passed away on Friday, April 4th, 2014 at 7:54 am at the age of 83. Della was a loving mother to Leisa Presmanes and husband Jimmy, Kathy Shaw, Cindy Baker, and grandmother to Casey McLean, Emily Presmanes, Lauren and Tyler Shaw. Husband, Robert Allen Mills, preceded her in death. Della was raised in Americus, Georgia, raised her three children in Warner Robins, Georgia, and later moved to Atlanta in 1983. She was retired civil service from Robins Air Force Base. Della was a devout Christian and member of Dr. Charles Stanley's church, Atlanta First Baptist. She was an incredible cook, loved animals, travel, and her family. Her kind demeanor and sense of humor made Della a friend to all who met her. A visitation to celebrate Della's life will be held on Friday, April 11th from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at 2098 Zelda Drive Atlanta, Georgia 30345. Dr. Alan Smith will lead a private family service at a later date.
