Diane Coffey

Frances Diane Coffey, age 70 of Cumming, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Diane was an avid gardener. She could always be found taking and giving rides on her golf cart. She found joy in tending to her vegetable garden. She enjoyed being with her family and loving neighbors. She was a devoted wife and a selfless mother and Nana who loved the Lord and found pleasure in the simple things of life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Limma Green. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Leroy Coffey of Cumming; daughter, Freida and Marty McPherson; son, Allen and Jennifer Coffey; granddaughters, Amy and Brett Boutwell, Bridget and Dustin Martin, Heidi McPherson; grandson, Judson Coffey; 2 great grandchildren, Emma Grace and Clete Boutwell; cousins, Henry Green and Joan Echols. The family would like to thank all neighbors, friends, and loved ones for their support and prayers. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5th at 2:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie McCormick and Rev. Scott Sorrells officiating. Interment will follow in Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
