Diane Jackson

Diane Jackson, age 65, of Cumming, GA, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Mrs. Jackson was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt. She spent many years carrying special cargo as a special need bus driver for the Forsyth County School System. Her favorite hobby was crocheting beautiful blankets, scarves and hats for those she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lillian Wilkinson; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Geraldine Jackson; brother-in-law, Franklin Ellerbee; and son, Craig Randell Jackson.

Mrs. Jackson was of the Pentecostal faith. She was an active member of First Pentecostal Church of Cumming, GA. she spent many years as the church pianist and loved singing the songs of Zion.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ricky Jackson; children, Sam (DeeDee) Jackson, Curtis (Johnna) Jackson, Travis (Cara) Jackson, Allison Jackson and Cassie Reyna; grandchildren, Christina (Darrin) Bender, Craig and Elizabeth Jackson, Canann, Vivian and Raylan Jackson, Hailey Hamilton, Sandra Hlavac and Bo Ray, Briana and Kaleb Dunagan, great grandchildren, Laina and Trenten Bender, Addison Sanders and Dalton Hlavac; sister, Andrea Ellerbee of Griffin, GA; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Jack) Hewatt of Jasper, GA, Melody Sims and April Jackson both of Canton, GA; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews

Funeral services for Diane will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Diane Jackson.

Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming is in charge of arrangements.
