Dixie Ruth Tate James Buell Simonic

Dixie Ruth Tate James Buell Simonic, age 80, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at her residence. She was a supporter of River of Life Church of God in Cumming, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Frances Tate; son, Robert James; siblings, Joyce Lane, Sandra DiPilla, Pete Tate, Clinton Tate, and Beth Wilcox. Dixie was born in Chattanooga, TN. As a young girl she moved to Miami, Florida and later to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, then in 2013 she moved to Cumming, GA. to be near her children.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward (Melissa) James of Cumming, GA; daughter, Sharon James of Edgefield, SC; daughter in law, Sylvia James Brugh; sister in law, Diane Tate; grandchildren, Jessica James, Jonathan James; 1 step grandchild and several great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mrs. Simonic will be held at a later date.

Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
