Don Broome

Mr. James Donald (Don) Broome, age 88, of Snellville, GA, passed away on February 17, 2015. A World War II Veteran of the United States Marine Corps (Semper Fi!), he served as a radio operator in the Pacific Theater. Don was a faithful servant and a member of North Lanier Baptist Church, Cumming, GA. Survivors include his wife Melba Broome of Snellville; children, Donna and Kenny Little, Jim and Cherrie Broome, Holly Foulke, Deanna and Craig Self, Andrea and Chuck Lamar, and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 4:00 p.m., in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Rusty Ricketson officiating. Inurnment, with military honors, will be Monday, February 23, 2:00 p.m., at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
