Donah Dimmlich

Donah Dimmlich age 76, passed away Easter Sunday April 9th, 2023 at Northside Hospital in Cumming, Georgia surrounded by family, friends, and poker players 

Donah was born on April 3, 1947 to Roy and Onie Cornwell in Kentucky. Donah moved to Cincinnati Ohio and met the love of her life, Allen. They began the Dimmlich family with Christopher. Donah and Allen continued to build their legacy with Scot, Jason, and Sondra Dimmlich in Westerville Ohio. Together they were wonderful providers for the family. They eventually moved to Atlanta, Ga.

Donah was the most compassionate and caring mother. She was also the best friend you could ever wish to have. The less you had the more she gave. She touched the hearts of many people of all ages everywhere.  Words will never do justice to describe the phenomenal woman Donah Dimmlich was. If you asked her, she would tell you she was blessed to know you. 

She loved her husband Allen, and her four children with all her heart. She enjoyed hosting holidays, family gatherings, traveling, and playing poker with friends. She was by far the best poker player in the family and possibly the state of Georgia!

She loved to be surrounded by family and lived to spend time with and was beloved by her ten grandkids. Donah will be dearly missed but NEVER EVER forgotten!

Donah is survived by her loving four children and their spouses:

Christopher Dimmlich (Paola), Scot Dimmlich (Diana), Jason Dimmlich (Leeann), and Sondra Fox (James). Donah is also dearly loved by her ten grandchildren:

Logan Fox, Kyle Fox, Lindsay Dimmlich, Sydnie Dimmlich, Michael Dimmlich, Lydia Dimmlich, Haley Fox, Joshua Negron, Lillian Dimmlich, Tyler, and Isabelle Dimmlich.

Visitation/Viewing begins Sunday 12:00-2:00pm. Service begins at 2:00pm in the Chapel.

The procession will go from Ingram Funeral Home to Green Lawn Cemetery immediately following the service (approximately 30 minute drive). You are welcome to follow us to her final resting place and join us for a reception afterward celebrating her life.
