Donald Leonard Jefferson

Donald Leonard Jefferson (DJ, Legs, Gentle Giant), 55, peacefully slept away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.



Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, 11 am., at Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, Georgia, with Chaplain Algernon Booker, officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:30 am, at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia.



Donald was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Shepherd Jefferson, Sr. Survivors to cherish loving memories include: faithful and devoted wife, Annita; son, Donald, Jr.; mother, Barbara Green Jefferson; siblings, Lloyd (Brenda), Cynthia (Mervin) Kelly, Kathy Austin, Garey (Yvette), Ronald (Miki), Douglas (Sheila) and Jennifer (Nathaniel) Blakly; aunts, Mary Alice Jefferson and Janice Green Williams; nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may the Police Benevolent Fund.



Members of the Gwinnett County Sheriffs Office will serve as active pallbearers.



Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
