Donald R. Heard

Donald R. Heard, age 73, of Cumming, GA. passed away Monday, December 9, 2019.

He was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church of Atlanta. Donald was a member of the Atlanta Plumber Steam fitters local # 72 and a member of the Lafayette Masonic Lodge # 44 FAM. He was preceded in death by his father, R.H. Heard; his sister, Nancy Jones; his grandparents, Mattie Tallant, Homer and Lena Heard.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janet Sewell Heard; daughters and sons in law, Christy and Justin Moore, Andrea and Jered Otting; grandchildren, Nolah Grace Moore and Jackson McDaniel-Otting; mother, Sylvia Heard; brother in law, Jeff Jones; niece and nephew, Lori and Jason Scott, Jason Jones; great nieces, Amelia and Eliza Scott; uncle and aunt, Leverette and Sally Heard; cousins, Sandra and Randy Tallant , Jimmy Cowart.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Byrd and Rev. Chris Chester officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee view Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until hour of service.
