Donna Hamrick

Donna Hamrick, age 76 of Centre, Al, formerly of Cumming, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 17, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA with Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Hamrick; 3 sons, Bryan and Alicia Hamrick of Jefferson, GA, Eric Hamrick of Centre, AL, and Mikel and Shay Hamrick of Dahlonega, GA; 4 grandchildren, Emily and Tristan McDowell of Auburn, GA, Matt Hamrick of Jefferson, GA, Logan and Charlee “Bill” Hamrick of Dahlonega, GA; sister, Janice Scharf; and brothers, Jerry and James Daniell; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carter and Helen McClendon. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

Donna loved the Lord, her church and her family. The grandchildren were her prize possessions. She will be greatly missed by all, but we have assurance she’s rejoicing with the Lord at this very moment.
