Donna Tate Castleberry, age 55, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013. Donna was the likeness of her mother Bonnie Tate, the ultimate caregiver and the pinnacle of her family. In 1976, friend to all, she was named "Miss Senior" of her senior high school class at Forsyth County High and was married to "Mr. Senior" Ricky Castleberry. She loved to laugh and enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family. She was a prayer warrior who loved God. She is preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Caldwell Tate. Survivors include her children, Jake (Kellie) Castleberry, Katie (Christopher) Light; father, Bill Tate; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff (Kristin) Tate, Chuck (Jill) Tate; aunt, Billie Jean Rognelson; niece, Cynda Tate; nephews, Josh Tate, Caleb Tate, Gabe Tate and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Lovejoy officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
