Dorene Bergan

Winnifred Dorene Bergan, 74, died January 16, 2015 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA after a brave and valiant fight against cancer. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (January 20th) at The Church of Latter-Day Saints in Acworth, GA. Dorene Bergan was born August 22, 1940 in Miami, Florida, the daughter of Jackson L. and Lillian E. (Pettley) Hemrick. She is survived by her three children Catherine E. Bergan of Bowie, MD, Nancy M. (Clay) York of Greentown, IN, and Gerald J. (Barbara) Bergan, Sr of Kennesaw, GA, her sister Jean (Dwain) Clark of Coalville, and her brother David (Connie) Hemrick of Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
