Doris A. McLaughlin

Doris Mae Adams McLaughlin, 84, completed her journey on this earth Monday May 31, 2010. She was born July 21, 1925 in Cottageville, SC.

She was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Larry McLaughlin. Moving to Cumming from East Point, GA, she was retired from the State of Georgia Department of Revenue.

She is survived by her son, Charles Michael McLaughlin of Cumming, GA; daughter Cheryl McLaughlin-Irvin of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren Trey and wife Shannon Houston of Senoia, GA, Toby and wife Dawn Houston of Fayetteville,GA, Sarah Houston-Lay of Hampton, GA, Henry Irvin of Gainesville, GA; two great-grandchildren Taylor Marie Houston and Kenzie Nichole Houston of Fayetteville, GA.

The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday June 2, 2010 from the hours of 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 3, 2010 at good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming, GA, with interment to follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
