Doris S. Chestnut

Doris S. Chestnut, age 91, of Cumming, passed away February 8, 2016. She was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church in Cumming. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Chestnut. She is survived by her children, Gayle and Al Purcell of Crawfordville, GA, Gary and Brenda Heard Spence of Cumming, Randy Spence of Buford; brothers, Jerome and Peggy Chason of Pelham, A.G. and Jackie Chason Jr, of Pelham; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 12, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Brown and Rev. Travis Bridgeman officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Friday, February 12, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
