Dorothy Belle Smith

Mrs. Dorothy Belle Smith, age 87 of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009. She was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Smith; sons, Marvin Leonard and James Calvin Smith; parents, Charles and Julia Mae Cain. Survivors include children, Elizabeth Bolton, Julia and Clyde Flannigan, Earl and Joyce Smith, Harold and Gail Smith, all of Cumming and Robert Smith of Augusta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Julian and Ethel Mae Caine of Cumming, Marvin and Mary Anne Caine of Villa Rica; sister, Etheleene Ledford of Buford; sisters-in-law, Jessie Durham Caine and Inez Grindle Cain both of Cumming; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14th at 3:30 pm at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Truel Martin, Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Greg Rawlins and Rev. Pete Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 12th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday, April 13th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Tuesday, April 14th from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
