Dorothy Patterson Williams

Dorothy Patterson Williams, age 85, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. She was a life time member of Salem Baptist Church where she was formerly pianist. Dorothy was a strong and determined lady that loved to travel and worked in her garden. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Williams and her son, Harold A. Williams, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Jan Williams of Roswell; daughter and son-in-law Joni and Jack Poulnott Jr. of Buford; grandchildren, Cory Simpson and Mary Shannon Corn. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. with Rev. Shad Faulkner, Rev. Jeffrey Hughes, Rev. Wilson Pruitt and Rev. David Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:00 p.m. until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
