Dorothy Martin Pirkle

Dorothy Martin Pirkle, age 87, of Cumming, GA passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, Coell M. Pirkle; son, Scott Pirkle, mother, Susie Meeks, and adoptive parents Hershell and Flois Martin. Dorothy was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Nancy) Hudgins, Susan (Tony) McDuffie, and Kent (Becky) Pirkle; grandchildren, Justin McDuffie, Caden Pirkle, and Makayla Pirkle. She will also be missed by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Doug Carnes and Rev. Tommy Weldy officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Thursday from 9:00 AM to the time of service.
