Doug Gunter was a unique man. If you were to ask those that knew him to describe him in one word, they would probably smile and ask just ONE word?.
There are many descriptions that would cross our mind that just couldnt simply be put into one word to describe Doug. He was a caring son and brother, a loving husband and father, a goofy papa, and a truly loyal friend. He was an honest man, that told you the truth, whether you liked it or not, and chances are, you already knew what he thought of you.
Doug was veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Ducktown Masonic Lodge of Cumming, #572.
Doug had a strong work ethic and took pride in providing for his family, as his family took pride in him and his love for them. His sense of humor was always available to those who would welcome it, and he delighted at the opportunity when it would present itself.
There is not a person in this world that could take his place.
Rest Easy, Doug. YOU WON!
